Research on languages and other medium of education for early childhood is an in-depth phenomena. New views and ways of teaching are involved so as to get the child have more focus on the reading. If the child is exposed to reading concepts early, the hold on the language is good. Writing skills are easily developed. There are so many segments in teaching a child. One surely is the basic of phonics and teaching phonemes. It is about the sound of each alphabet. Vernacular accent can be totally accent if phonics is taught in the right way. A good teacher first evaluates the need for the basic class for adults and progresses to levels accordingly.

Usually there are grouping of words. Like ‘at’ can be taught as cat, fat, mat and rat. Again while teaching ‘et ‘words it can be a set of rhyming words like set, met, let and get. But for children colors and pictures are very important. Phonics teaching can be made more lively with a bit of drawing and enactment. There are ready worksheets you can have. For e.g. you can teach A fat cat. And make a child draw a cat that is really fat. That adds so much of laughter and coloring surely improves the motor skills. Using thick and long crayons is good for aiding grip in the child. Adding a lot of variety in the lessons of phonics is really easy. You can either make your own sheets or just download the worksheets from the internet.

Phonics books make wonderful gifts. This is one way of rewarding children or gifting them. Use of the books requires no special ability to teach as the colors, arrow marks and rhymes indicate the use of it right away. Phonics for adults can be really interesting with audio interaction and music. Several classes are conducted for adults so that the reliance on the vernacular accent is minimized. Looking at a positive angle, the phonics help you get more confidence while learning English and speaking without any hesitation. Slow there is more progress with sentences. Phonics builds confidence in us to learn the right pronunciation and learn new words.

The use of ‘a’ and ‘an’ i.e. the articles again builds the proper way to sound the words. Practicing phonics is very important. This helps the child or the adult to get the revision done well and they only the levels can be raised. The interactive group sessions done at the pre school level are the best way one can go for a phonics class.
